The US Army suffered a major international embarrassment during the deployment of tanks to Eastern Europe.  In an effort to deter further Russian aggression in Europe, NATO deployed heavy combat equipment to Poland and other NATO members who border Russia.  Soldiers and civilian contractors were dismayed to receive tanks without all the equipment required in each tank, dead batteries and some with little fuel.  To make matters worse, some tanks were damaged during transportation due to hitting low hanging overpasses in Eastern European highways.

At least the Army is getting the kinks and bugs out of the way now and not during a national emergency.
